Is There A Way To Set The Compliance Of A Mfr. Part To Be Ignored Or Otherwise Prevent The Display Of "Missing Info" When Evaluating Them? (Doc ID 2549301.1)

Agile PG&C Issue

When an Assembly has both BOM and AML, it appears that the only way to get the system to calculate compliance for the BOM is to leave the "Declared Compliance" on the mfr. part(s) for the Assembly blank.

Once any status is declared for the mpn on the AML of the Assembly it will override the rolled up compliance status of the BOM.

The issue is that this requires leaving the Calculated Compliance of the mfr. part(s) on the Assembly as "Missing Info", which is confusing to users that are evaluating the status of all mfr. parts in the system.

Is there a way to set the compliance of these mfr. parts to be ignored or otherwise prevent the display of "Missing Info" when evaluating them.

NOTE: this is for Part Declarations only, and does not involve Compositions or Substances"

Could you please confirm our understanding of how the system is set up?
