(Doc ID 2552319.1)
Last updated on JULY 16, 2020
Applies to:
Oracle Communications Order and Service Management - Version 7.3.5.0.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
OSM 7.3.5.1.4 version:
ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Small feature post upgrading OSM version to 7.3.5.1.4. In OSM 7.3.5.1.4 version's task web client, if customer is entering edit query and adding a value to OrderNumber field and doing a search, that value is lost if customer clicks on edit query again and tries to modify the value. They have to enter the value again.
Customer is looking for similar functionality they already had in their previous OSM task web client.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Customer Expectation based on 7.2.0.8 OSM client behavior
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In the 7.2.0, OSM it retained the order number entered in that session. It used to remain until you logout. For example, when you search order number <ORDER_ID> and it doesn’t return any rows. When we click in Edit Query then it used to show the order number so that we know what we entered earlier and were able to correct it. We are not clicking on any save button or saved query view.
Customer existing version are
WebLogic Version: 10.3.5.0
OSM Version : 7.2.0.8 Build: 1854
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Edit query and adding a value to OrderNumber field
2. Click search, that value is lost if customer clicks on edit query again and tries to modify the value.
