Control sections using Documaker-Documerge combination

When using Documaker-Documerge combination for generating forms/Documents, the form is first designed once in Documaker and then converted into an AFP which is then released onto Documerge.

For the given input data (policy data) once the job executes, Documerge along with it's mainframe based COBOL modules act as a print engine.

Typically with Documerge, for a given policy data, when the conditions for fields corresponding to a part or section of a form is not met, then the field is left with blank, thereby creating a lot of white space.

How do you eliminate the white space altogether and also, if part of page is conditional and if in case the condition is not met, then to not print that part of the page altogether?
