AIP expects a warehouse orderable unit (WOU) for all ranged vendors instead of the actual vendor that is set as the warehouse source. Currently NO_REPL_WH_SKPS_DATE Alert utility searches for warehouse orderable unit (dm1_od_untpll) on all the following combinations and if any one is missing, an alert is getting triggered:
1) WOU for Warehouse 1, Vendor 1
2) WOU for Warehouse 2, Vendor 2
3) WOU for Warehouse 1 , Vendor 2
4) WOU for Warehouse 2 , Vendor 1
If 1) or 3) is missing, an alert will be created for Warehouse 1. If 2) or 4) is missing an alert will be created for Warehouse 2.
In the current case, user supplies warehouse orderable unit only for cases 1) & 2) and it is a valid business scenario. That causes a lot of alerts which provide no value to the end users. Expectation is to have an alert when the warehouse orderable unit was missing for the vendor set as warehouse source ( i.e. cases 1 & 2 and not for 3 & 4).
