Overdue Policy Emails Are Not Sent to Users (Doc ID 2555382.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

When Step Duration is defined with the Overdue Policy of Send notification to step assignees setting enabled/checked for the Workflow type Business Process, after configuring a Business Process's workflow schema to define Step Duration for an overdue policy of one day, the users do not receive an email notification for an overdue Step.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Users should receive alert emails for overdue Steps.

 

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Sign into Unifier and ensure that some Workflow type Business Process workflow schema has Step Duration defined as one (1) day.
  2. In the Policy section, check/enable the Overdue Policy box for Send notification to the step assignees.
  3. Observe the reported issue when the Due Date is passed for the step.
