Transfer of a Pack for a Non Ranged Store Is Creating Incorrect Ranging Information (Doc ID 2555759.1)

Symptoms

When creating a transfer of a pack item from a warehouse to a store where the pack is not ranged, the records in ITEM_LOC for the components are created with RANGED_IND = Y, whereas the PACK is created with RANGED_IND = N.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a Transfer for Pack Item containing several Components.
  2. Select a warehouse as From Location.
  3. Select Store as To Location (the pack must not be already ranged to that store).
  4. Approve the Transfer.
  5. Check that in ITEM_LOC table and observe pack has RANGED_IND = N whereas components have RANGED_IND = Y.
