Can You Customize REV_HIER_FLATTENED Table? (Doc ID 2556319.1)

Goal

Question 1: On 8.0.2 version, please let us know the following information regarding REV_HIER_FLATTENED table, which hasn't been found inside data model:

1. Can you confirm this table comes as part of the product installation?

2. If this table come as installation, how can we customize this table? Or Oracle doesn’t recommend customizing it?

 

Question 2: There is no desire to add or modify any column. However, since there are multiple hierarchies for one dimension and reporting hierarchy is often different than hierarchy used in PFT rule calculation, there is a performance issue to retrieve data from REV_HIER_FLATTENED table using hierarchy_id (since this table has no index).

Can one composite index be created using column dimension_id and hierarchy_id of the same?
