Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
In P6 Professional using a Cloud Connect database connection with no client side cache enabled, and while many users are active, one or more of the following errors occur:
- Exception=(Stream Read Error)
- WBS Deleted by Another User
- TCCustomVirtualRow.ExistInDB: table=($table), Exception=(Stream read error), sql=($sql statement)
These errors occur when there are many users logged into the application. No other symptoms have been noted on the database or cloud connect application server logs.
Database CPU appears to be normal when the errors occur. Rebooting all of the application servers and the database server seems to make the errors stop temporarily, but they soon start reoccurring for multiple (usually > 20) users multiple times per day on most days.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to P6.
2. Perform typical tasks.
3. Observe the reported errors.
