BILLING batch NOT generating Current month bill if BILL_DT is NOT last day of current month
Post upgrade, customer is facing an issue while billing our accounts using BILLING batch. They have March month "Complete" bills existing in our environment and trying to generate bills for month of April using BILLING batch, bills for April are not getting generated.
On further investigation, it was found that they have Bill Date (BILL_DT in CI_BILL) of March "Complete" bills as 5th April, 2019 and since this bill date of March bills is in April thus BILLING batch skips to generate April bill for the accounts. If they update the Bill Date of March "Complete" bills to 31st March, 2019 (i.e. within same month as the bill) and try to generate April month's bill then BILLING batch generates the bills for April month.
