Large Number Of LocApp Crashes (Doc ID 2560583.1)

On all versions of Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control (OCNCC or NCC) and Oracle Communications Convergent Charging Controller (OC3C or 3C) up to and including, the locApp binary (from the Location Capabilities Pack (LCP module)) crashes with a Segmentation Fault.  This issue does not affect any specific query/look up, any certain traffic type, or any specific configuration.

This issue is significantly exacerbated if debug is enabled in locApp.

Here is an example of the backtrace leading to this problem:
