"Invalid request / Error while processing request" Error Received while Saving System Configuration Screen

Symptoms
On 8.0.x version, while saving System Configuration screen (with or without changes), "Invalid request / Error while processing request" error is received in UI.
Following error was also found in the Adminserver.log and nohup.out of webserver:
