Symptoms

Below error is reported when attempting to create FILES_CONTENT_IDX index by running agile9_fts.sql on an Agile Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) System.

Error Message

DRG-10758: index owner does not have the privilege to use file or URL datastore

Below is the full error reported when agile9_fts.sql is run:

 

Environmental Detail

Oracle Database version is 18c or above


Steps

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Login to sqlplus as agile database user, and run agile9_fts.sql found under Agile database maintenance directory: %ORACLE_HOME%\admin\%ORACLE_SID%\create\agile
  2. See the error generated in _agile9_fts.log

 

Changes

Upgraded Oracle Database to 18c or above
