Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

 PROBLEM STATEMENT
=================
Customer has a sales order with request arrival date on a non working day and hence the forecast is not consuming the same.
but when the request arrival date is changed to the working day, the forecast consumes the same.
in both the case the schedule ship date and suggested due date did not change and was a working day.

the schedule by is set as arrival date.

The plan Schedule By parameter = Request Arrival Date.

Item XXXX has  forecasts and  sales  orders (with demand of 1 unit of the item per each sales order) for the same
item (as a component of a configuration item)  with Requested Arrival  Date = yyyy  (which is a non working day in manufacturing and shipping
calendars).

The same forecast has not been consumed at all.

EXPECTATION

=================

Please explain why consumption failed in this case. Is it because manufacturing and/or shipping calendars have yyyy (the sales orders requested arrival date) as a non working day?
