RWMS Publishes Inventory Adjustment When Processing PFTSKU (Pending First SKU) WIP (Doc ID 2566451.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 02, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Warehouse Management System - Version 16.0.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When processing a container already on DC (example: with status = 'I') with a FTSKU wip, if there are containers with status = 'A' {PFTSKU (Pending First SKU) WIP} with the same item, the system will generate a inventory adjustment NULL -> RIP for the items existing on the 'A' status containers.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Make sure to have a container inventoried with the wip code FTSKU (First SKU) associated.
2. Make sure to have the scp distrib_unfin_wip = 'Y'.
3. Generate a transfer of the item of the above container from a store to the DC.
4. Verify in RWMS that the container sent from the store is on the CONTAINER_WIP table with the wip code PFTSKU.
5. Process the wip_code only for the first container (already inventoried).
6. Verify that the system generated an inventory adj for the quantities of the container in step#4 with status 'A' (NULL->RIP).
