Last updated on DECEMBER 29, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Documaker - Version 12.6 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

On : 12.6 version, Documaker Server

Customer upgraded to IDS 2.9 and Studio 12.6. As part of this upgrade, they moved from Windows Server 2008 and SQL Server 2008 to Windows Server 2016 and SQL Server 2016. Using the SERVERTIMESPENT value from the send.msg, a number of transactions take over 10 seconds, and even the ones under 10 seconds are much higher than prior to the upgrade.  DBAs checked and they're seeing deadlocks. These deadlocks seem to correlate with the "Invalid Cursor State" errors - and that is based
on what is shown as the "victim" of the deadlock.
