Transaction Sequence Number is Saved as 1 for the First Transaction Performed on the Existing POS Register Which has POS Client Reinstalled (Doc ID 2572005.1)

Symptoms

After applying <Bug 29867558> fix, upon the reinstallation of Point of Service (POS) Client on a POS Register which has Transaction Sequence Number nearing the Maximum Transaction sequence number, the first transaction performed on the Register is recorded with transaction sequence number 1 instead of continuing with the next sequence number for the transaction number for the particular register.


Steps to reproduce:
Pre-requisite:
1. Reinstall POS Client on the POS Register which has the Transaction Sequence Number nearing the Maximum Transaction sequence number (Example 9975).
2. Apply <Bug 29867558> fix.

1. Start POS client.
2. Observe that the transaction sequence number is 1 instead of 9976.
