How to Prevent Users from Modifying the Provider Code After a Record is Saved (Doc ID 2578846.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 21, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Health Insurance Claims Adjudication - Version 3.19.1.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

OHI currently allows users to modify the provider code of existing facilities. Internally, OHI uses a provider's internal ID as its unique identifier. Therefore, changing a provider's code will not break the links to a provider's contracts, networks, etc. However, financial transactions, reporting, etc. would be severely impacted.  We need access restriction to restrict the Providers Code only while allowing other fields to be modified like Definition, Name, Start Date .. etc.
