Getting Job Returned -11, ORA-07445 & Core Dump Running Allocations in Batch on HP-UX with 9.2.x (Doc ID 258028.1)

Oracle Performance Analyzer (PA) Allocations run in a batch trigger a job returned -11 error on an Oracle 9.2.x database in a HP-UX environment.  The error occurs randomly.  Sometimes the allocations run successfully, sometimes they do not.

There are errors in the alert.log:

Errors in file /db/d123/app/oracle/admin/ofsademo/udump/ofsademo_ora_12345.trc:

ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [kkofmx()+2752] [SIGSEGV] [unknown code] [0x800003FF74800000] [] []

The *.trc files contain the following errors:

Exception signal: 11 (SIGSEGV), code: 0 (unknown code), addr: 0x800003ff5d000000, PC: [0x40000000016a75a8, kkofmx()+2752]

ksedmp: internal or fatal error
ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [kkofmx()+2752] [SIGSEGV] [unknown code] [0x800003FF5D000000] [] []
