C2M Service Issue Monitor Discarding With Recent Investigation Detected When There Is No Recent SIM (Doc ID 2582085.1)

Symptoms


When a Service Issue Monitor that is initiated from a Command Activity is progressed, it is discarded instead of creating an SIO Activity



Steps -
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Set up Service Task Type for a Command Activity with Discard Rules settings as follows:
Monitor Type for Activity = YesIf Completed Activity Found = YesNumber of Days Back = 3
Set up related Device, DC, IE and SP.

2. Create a Command Activity (i.e. Remote Disconnect) related to the Device.

3. Discard Command Activity to create a Service Issue Monitor (SIM).

4. Click on ‘Analyze Service Point’ on SIM page -make sure there is NO other Service Investigative Order (SIO) Activity existing at this time.

Expected Result: The SIM is NOT discarded.
Actual Result: The SIM is discarded
