When Using The External Data Transaction Service, The ORIGUSER Field Is Not Getting Populated (Doc ID 2582575.1)

On : 12.6 version, Enterprise Edition

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
When using the External Data Transaction service, the ORIGUSER field is not getting populated

User initiates a transaction using the EDT Service and Edits the document. The CURRUSER field is populated when the User saves the document, but the ORIGUSER field is never populated.


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
The ORIGUSER field should be populated.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. User initiates a transaction using the EDT Service
2. User selects Contact and Template to be generated (Customer code)
3. Transaction is successful. User clicks wipEdit to Edit the document
4. Edit comes up and user closes
5. The ORIGUSER field is not populated.


BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot use this field for reporting.
