Purchase Order Creation Messages POCre (PODTLCre) Are Stuck In MPS Stage Messages (Doc ID 2583324.1)

Symptoms

Purchase Order creation messages (POCre) are stuck in Store Inventory Management System (SIM) MPS_STAGE_MESSAGE table, with error:


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create Purchase Order (PO) in Retail Merchandising System (RMS) for item A.
2. Receive PO in SIM and add a new item on receiving, Item B.
3. Quantity is correctly updated in RMS tables for new item.
4. However the new message fails in SIM MPS_STAGE_MESSAGE for new item added.
