Wrong IP Used In Domain Configuration Pane To Connect To Managed Server (Doc ID 2584556.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 03, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Converged Application Server - Service Controller - Version 6.1.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When double-click on a managed server from the Admin console, the connection eventually times out with a java.rmi.ConnectIOException.

The error message says that OCCAS admin server had No Route to host. And that's true, because the IP address in the error message indicate that it is trying to connect to the interface used by SIP SSU, not the JMX service.

Netcat confirms that there is indeed a route from admin server eth0 to the IP/ports listed in the "Servers" tab.
