Pressing Clear Button To Saved Search And Rerun Search Will Not Return All Records (Doc ID 2585064.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
On Saved Search in which search criteria 2 attribute are set with value,
running the saved search and then pressing clear button and rerun that search
will not return all records. It seems clear button is not clearing out
the search criteria's first attribute value even the UI shows no value set.

 

FACT
This issue occurs specific to saved search only.

STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to admin user with web client
2. Click Custom Search
3. Run Search with following

Items : Parts
Name/Number/Desc : Contains Phrase :
Part Subtype : In :

==> return 18 rows

4. Set Search Criteria

Items : Parts
Name/Number/Desc : Contains Phrase : P
Part Subtype : In : Part

5. Search

==> return 16 rows

6. Press Save > Save As and save search for step 4 search criteria.

Personal Searches
> testsearch

7. Logout and Login with admin user

8. Run Saved Search : testsearch

==> return 16 rows

10. Click Clear button

11. Click search

==> return 17 rows

This should return 18 rows as in step 3. The search seem to return output with
following criteria , although in the UI, "Name/Number/Desc" search value is
shown blank.
