Symptoms

System allows to create an item through the Retail Merchandising System(RMS) GUI with a number that has been previously reserved.

Steps To Recreate:

  1.  Reserve an item number (either by using the webservice or by manually creating a record in the "SVC_ITEM_RESERVATION" table).
  2.  Login to RMS.
  3.  Go to the Create Item screen.
  4.  Use the same item number type and item number that was previously reserved.
  5.  RMS allows to use the reserved item number.
