POS Transaction Is Not Processed by SIM If the Transaction Has More Than 499 Line Items (Doc ID 2591049.1)

Symptoms

Oracle Retail Store Inventory Management (SIM) has a restriction of 499 items to be allowed in a single Point-of-Service (POS) transaction.

Steps to Recreate:

1. Using the SIM POSTransactionService Web Service, submit a request with more than 499 items.
2. Notice that the request fails with the following error message;
"SchemaValidationErrors [1] for INBOUND : com.oracle.retail.integration.base.bo.postrncoldesc.v1.PosTrnColDesc"
