Last updated on SEPTEMBER 30, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Insurance Policy Administration J2EE - Version 11.1.0.12 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 11.1.0.12 version, Plan information

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------------------
When using requirements to trigger the processing of activities on a policy, if one of the activities contains a StatusChange,
then the display from the Policy Summary window on the right of the policy screen will not update until a user navigates to a different page.
The policy status does update as expected on the policy screen after the requirement has triggered the processing of the activity however the policy summary does not.
A user needs to navigate away from the policy, then return to the original policy before seeing the correct status in the summary section.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
When the requirement causes an activity to update the status, the policy summary should display the new status without needing to navigate away.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create a requirement that uses ProcessActivites attached rule.
2. Have a pending activity on the policy that uses StatusChange attached rule.
3. For a given STATE of the requirement, use the attached rule to trigger the pending activities.
4. Upon process of the requirement in the STATE that uses that attached rule.

***Notice that the summary screen Does Not update however if a user navigates to the Activities page they will note that the activity has processed as expected and now the user is able to see the policy status updated.
