Agile access.log Contains Many Entries Regarding the Rendez-vous Servlet "/Agile/VueRDVServlet", the Size of the Log Keeps Increasing (Doc ID 2595868.1)

Symptoms

Using Agile 9.3.6.8.2 and up, viewing files with AutoVue using the option "View files in separate Viewer windows" will cause the log file access.log to grow really fast. What is seen in the log is the following request:

10.10.10.10 - admin [16/Apr/2019:13:25:51 -0600] "POST /Agile/VueRDVServlet?Ticket=0.26099308375073627&RequestType=AV_PEEK HTTP/1.1" 412 73

Some of the request do come in many times per seconds.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Install 9.3.6.8.2 or a newer release.
  2. From Agile use the setting "View files in separate Viewer windows".
  3. Try to view two files using AutoVue.
  4. Notice the entries in the access.log file
