'Save Failed' Error Occurs After Deleting Definition Rows from Conditional Assumption Screen (Doc ID 2596418.1)

Symptoms

In a Transfer Pricing Rule, when attempting to delete definition rows from the Conditional Assumption screen, the rows are removed but when you click on the Save button, the following error appears:

Save Failed

 

The following error is output to the web server's log:

java.lang.NumberFormatException: null
       at java.lang.Long.parseLong(Long.java:552)
       at java.lang.Long.parseLong(Long.java:631)
       at com.ofs.fsapps.ftp.controller.TpruleCRUDActionContoller.CAXMLDataParse(TpruleCRUDActionContoller.java:2075)
       at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke0(Native Method)
       at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(NativeMethodAccessorImpl.java:62)
       at sun.reflect.DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.java:43)
       at java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke(Method.java:498)
       etc.

If you open the Conditional Assumption again, the rows still exist in the screen but with blank descriptions.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Go to Funds Transfer Pricing
  2. Go to FTP Assumption Specification > Transfer Pricing Rules
  3. Edit a Transfer Pricing Rule
  4. Search for a product and edit its Conditional Assumption definition
  5. Select and delete the assumption definition rows in the screen
  6. Click Save

The error appears and the save fails.
