Test Connection Of LDAP SSL Configuration Produces Error "Connecton Test was not successful" And Weblogic Log "socket closed" (Doc ID 2606652.1)

Symptoms


When attempting to press the Test Connection button to test the LDAP SSL connection,
the following error occurs.

ERROR
-----------------------
"Connection Test was not successful."

And weblogic exception "{LDAP server host}:{port}; socket closed"


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Configure LDAP SSL for authenticating P6 Web logins.
2. Users are able to login P6 Web successfully.
3. Log on the web module of Primavera P6 Administration.
4. Go to Authentication -> the P6 configuration -> Database instance. The LDAP connection settings are configured correctly. The "SSL" option is checked.
5. Press the Test Connection. Above error symptom appears.

Note: Users are still able to login P6 Web successfully through LDAP SSL.

Due to this issue, the Test Connection result incorrectly indicates the SSL connection status.
