Last updated on NOVEMBER 19, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Network Management for Utilities - DMS - Version 2.3.0.2.0 and later
Oracle Utilities Network Management System - Version 2.3.0.2.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On a communication failure, a indicator flag is not set in NMS after stopping the LiveData server.

The communication flag indicates health of a SCADA point.  If communication failure flag is set on any point, it indicates the value is stale and the point is not communicating from LiveData SCADA.

It is expected that SCADA points in NMS should set communication failure quality flag for all points after failure of ICCP services.
