Last updated on NOVEMBER 19, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications Infrastructure - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications Infrastructure (OFSAAI)
Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA)
Oracle Financial Services Enterprise Performance Management (EPM)
Oracle HTTP Server (OHS)

OFSAA behind Oracle HTTP Server cannot be accessed through domain name anymore, after applying OFSAAI ML (Patch 29920061).

Let's say you have configuration such as:

- OFSAA web is served on HTTP port 7003, WebLogic, Proxy Plug-in enabled.

- Oracle HTTP Server is served on HTTPS port 443, forward requests of path "/ofs" to OFSAA server, as configured:

<Location /ofs>
WLSRequest On
WebLogicHost 10.x.x.x
WebLogicPort 7003

SecureProxy OFF

Application can be accessed directly through https://10.x.x.x:9080/ofs , however error is received when accessing through https://domain/ofs . A new window of https://domain/ofs/login.jsp pops-up and it's displaying "Invalid request / Error while processing request" error message.

Below error was also noticed in ofsServer.log, which produces an exception:

#### <[ACTIVE] ExecuteThread: '13' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)'> <> <> <005_7SpOSTVFw00Fzzw0w00000Fv00000R> <[severity-value: 8] [rid: 0:1] [partition-id: 0] [partition-name: DOMAIN] > <[ServletContext@798671181[app:ofs module:/ofs path:null spec-version:3.1]] Servlet failed with an Exception

Invalid request / Error while processing request
Please contact your System Administrator for more information.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Apply AAI
2. Try to access application via domain name.
