Goal
When retrieving a rate from a curve to calculate a transfer rate, is there a way to get a weekend effective date / rate to be defaulted to the next business day rate instead of the last business day rate?
For example: Straight Term with Fixed Rate
ORIGINATION_DATE: 12/30/2018 (Saturday)
Interest Rate Code (IRC) contains the following:
EFFECTIVE_DATE | INTEREST_RATE | INTEREST_RATE_TERM | INTEREST_RATE_TERM_MULT |
---|---|---|---|
28-Dec-2018 (Friday) | 2.7622 | 1 | Y |
28-Dec-2018 | 2.715 | 18 | M |
31-Dec-2018 (Monday) | 2.77 | 1 | Y |
31-Dec-2018 | 2.712 | 18 | M |
You want FTP to use the Monday, Dec. 31st rates when calculating the Transfer Rate. It currently uses the Dec. 28th rates.
