Error: "Invalid data entered" When Attempting To Change The Record Status To Chinese Values (Doc ID 2609394.1)

Symptoms

On:  Primavera Unifier, Admin Mode

When trying to change the record status values to Chinese values (Data Structure Setup -> Statuses -> Record Statuses), it fails with an error.

ERROR

Invalid data entered in the following field(s):
Value[124]: Allowed characters are A-Z a-z 0-9_.



STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Log into Primavera Unifier
2. Go to Data Structure Setup ->Statuses and open Record Statuses.
3. Go to Data Set, change one value to Chinese, click Apply or OK to save the change.
4. The following alert message is generated:

Invalid data entered in the following field(s):
Value[124]: Allowed characters are A-Z a-z 0-9_.


BUSINESS IMPACT

Due to this issue, users cannot change the Record Status values to Chinese.
