Last updated on DECEMBER 04, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Merchandising System - Version 16.0.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In Retail Merchandising System (RMS), Item Value Added Tax (VAT) is not exported correctly by the export_itemvat.ksh batch. It is not generating the delta files when the Item is ranged to a new Store

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create an Item on Day1 and approve it in RMS.  Make sure that VAT items must be added to this Item.
2. Don't range to any Store on Day1.
3. Execute nightly RMS to Xstore batches.
4. On Day2 , range to a store to the above Item. After Day2 nightly export run, the store specific momzip file would have this itemhdr and itemloc export details , but not on vatitem export details.
