In Trouble Info, Errors When Attempting to Unassociate a Call or Associate a Call with a Different Device (Doc ID 2614397.1)

Symptoms

On : 2.4.0.1.0 version, Web Workspace

After upgrading from 2.3.0.2 to 2.4.0.1, operators encountered two problems with Trouble Info and call association.

Cannot unassociate a call from trouble info to make it a fuzzy call

After upgrading to NMS 2.4.0.1, user cannot unassociate a call to make it a fuzzy call.
In NMS 2.3 a call can be unassociated (without having to associate it to another device).

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps on an OPAL demo model:

  1. Create a fuzzy call
  2. In Work Agenda associate the fuzzy event to a transformer
  3. Open the Trouble Info and select the call, right click and select Unassociate
  4. In Unassociate Dialog click OK (without populating New Device)
  5. The Error No Event Selected" appears

Cannot associate a call with a different device

Operators cannot associate a call with a different device using Trouble Info.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps on an OPAL demo model:

  1. Open Trouble Info for an event with a call (PSO)
  2. Select the call and open Unassociate
  3. In Viewer select a transformer
    --> The New Device field is populated with the transformer selected in the Viewer
  4. Click OK in the Unassociate Dialog.
  5. The error "Need an event populated in Trouble Info" appears.
