Symptoms

The Batch Report Generation or Bulk Report Transmit E2B AG processes occasionally fail to generate E2B reports with the following error:

 

The same report can be generated successfully by clicking on the Final link in the Case Form > Regulatory Reports tab.

 

Steps to Repeat:

Date format on transaction server and web servers via Control Panel:
 - Location: France
 - Format: English (United States)
 - Short Date: dd-MMM-yy
 - Long Date: dddd, MMMM dd, yyyy

NLS_DATABASE_PARAMETERS:
 - NLS_DATE_FORMAT = DD-MON-RR

Schedule an E2B for a Reporting Destination configured with the standard EMA R2 Message Profile
Lock the case
The report is processed by the Batch Report Generation or Bulk Report Transmit E2B AG process
The reported error is written to the ERROR_LOG table in the ESM schema
