ReIM Batches Are Failing With NoClassDefFoundError (Doc ID 2615209.1)

Symptoms

Getting the below error while running the ReIM batch and along with that, no logs are writing in the log location.

Steps to Recreate:

  1. Run any ReIM batch and notice the below error.

    Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/apache/logging/log4j/LogManager
      at oracle.retail.apps.reim.BatchClient.(BatchClient.java:23)
    Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.apache.logging.log4j.LogManager
      at java.net.URLClassLoader.findClass(URLClassLoader.java:382)
      at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(ClassLoader.java:424)
      at sun.misc.Launcher$AppClassLoader.loadClass(Launcher.java:349)
      at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(ClassLoader.java:357)
      ... 1 more
