Symptoms
Oracle Argus 8.1.2 and 8.2:
For some cases the Symptoms are appearing under [Event Assessment] screen despite the console settings which are set to show only Diagnosis.
On previous revisions of the case this did not occur.
Steps to replicate
- On the Argus Transaction / AG server, below services are running
- Priority Assessment Service - up and running
- Report Scheduling Service - up and running
- Queue Management Services up and running
- AG Service for Priority is NOT running
- [Argus Console]
- [System Configuration]
- System Management (Common Profile Switches)
- Automation
- 'Report On' = 'All Events'
- [Argus Console]
- [System Configuration]
- System Management (Common Profile Switches)
- Automation
- 'Event Assessment On' = 'Diagnosis'
So, based on above expect only to see Diagnosis Events in the Event Assessment Screens.

- [ ] Run all Case Priority Determination on Middle Tier" <== Latter is unchecked.
Changes
Recent upgrade from earlier code to AS 8.1.2 (or AS 8.2)
Now running new Priority Assessment Service on AG server.
