Agile-E6 SAP Interface (EIP) Randomly Crash With Error: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space (Doc ID 2619261.1)

On : version, Base Component

The customer has an Agile-E6 SAP Interface (EIP) in place that  sometimes crashes. After the Crash, EIP is no longer processing any data and is not reachable from within Agile e6:

The eai.log contains the below out of memory error error message, the administrator need to restart EIP to make it work again.

[2019-10-10 09:22:03.537 CEST] ERROR (AxalantEntityRecord) - Could not write record: java.lang.IndexOutOfBoundsException: Index: 1, Size: 1
[2019-10-10 09:22:03.537 CEST] ERROR (PlmSyncConnector) - com.eigner.eai.connector.ConnectorException: Problems in connector
[2019-10-10 09:22:03.553 CEST] ERROR (PlmSyncConnector) - E -1: Could not write record
[2019-10-10 09:22:06.959 CEST] ERROR (PollingWatcher) - Unhandled thread error
java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space
at com.agile.eci.EciResultSetImpl.<init>(

Expected Behavior:

Agile-E6 SAP Interface (EIP) should not crash

Steps to Reproduce:

EIP randomly crashes
