On : 2.7.0.1.0 version, ENV - Environment

CC&B 2.7.0.1 - Problem with CCB-V2.3.1-FW-PREREQ-V2.2.0-JAN2018-Security-Rollup (Patch 27411229)


After installing CC&B 2.3.1 SP10, the customer tried to execute the CC& B 2.3.1 FW Security Rollup in the database, and they encounter this problem:

.\p27411229_2310_MSWIN-x86-64\CCB-V2.3.1-FW-PREREQ-V2.2.0-JAN2018-Security-Rollup\FW-V2.2.0\Database\Oracle\cdxdbi\CDXpatch.exe

CDXpatch.exe: Unable to open the rollup parameter file Rollup.ini

This file doesn't exist inside the folder.

As a workaround 1, they copied the rollup.ini from .\FW-V220-SP20-Database\Oracle\cdxdbi\rollup.ini to .\p27411229_2310_MSWIN-x86-64\CCB-V2.3.1-FW-PREREQ-V2.2.0-JAN2018-Security-Rollup\FW-V2.2.0\Database\Oracle\cdxdbi, but this new error appeared:

Connecting to the Target Database ...
User Name : CISADM
Database Name : CCBSBX27

Below is the list of Patches you have installed on the top of this service package.
Please follow the instructions in the Database_Service_Pack_Install.doc file and re-run the cdxpatch with -k option.

The list always is empty.

As a workarond 2, they execute the 23056698_RS1.sql manually in the database.


This patch must be installed in the database as part the CC&B upgrade process?
