Minimum Order Quantity Lot Modifier Not Used In SPP Plan For Planned Transfer Orders (Doc ID 2623521.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 02, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Service Parts Planning - Version 12.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Service Parts Planning (SPP) plan is not respecting Minimum Order Quantity order modifiers.
It does appear to be using Fixed Days Supply and Fixed Lot Multiplier for planned transfer orders.

SPP User Guide states that order modifiers are used for planned new buy
orders, not for repair orders. The topic of interorg transfer orders is not
clearly defined. Being that Fixed Days Supply and Fixed Lot Multiplier
order modifiers are respected for planned transfer orders, would expect
Minimum Order quantity to be respected also.

Profile option MSC: Apply Lot Modifiers in Weekly/Period Buckets = Yes
