Last updated on JANUARY 14, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Insurance Policy Administration J2EE - Version 11.2.0.16 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 11.2.0.16 version, General

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
When attempting to change the status of the Effective Date field on a transaction from Disabled to Enabled through Onload the value changes on Onload but resets to the default when an OnChange occurs.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
OnLoad changes to EffectiveDate are maintained when an Onchange occurs

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. With the provided transaction attempt to add it to a policy. The EffectiveDate is defaulted to disabled for the transaction in the configuration.
2. When the activity detail screen is loaded an OnLoad event will run that will enable it.
3. Add a value to the field "User". This will trigger an OnChange event.
4. Despite there being no configuration to do it this will set the status on the EffectiveDate field back to Disabled.
