Issues with PaymentTool in BRM (Doc ID 2632107.1)

On Oracle Communication Billing and Revenue Management (BRM), 2 issues are likely to be encountered when installing the Payment Tool client.

1. If performing a standalone installation on a system where no previous version of BRM's clients have ever been installed, pop-up errors will be thrown regarding missing Dynamically Linked Libraries (DLLs) and Payment Tool will fail to start:

"The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCR71.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem."

Reinstalling Payment Tool does not fix this issue.

2. If the DLLs exist, then Payment Tool may also throw another pop-up error when open the system registry:

"Cannot open the registry using 'Software\Portal', Error = 2."

The second pop-up can be closed and Payment Tool will operate normally.
