Last updated on JANUARY 28, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Financial Services Profitability Management - Version 8.0.7 and later
Oracle Financial Services Funds Transfer Pricing - Version 8.0.7 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
Oracle Financial Services Profitability Management (PFT)
Oracle Financial Services Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP)
Oracle Financial Services Asset Liability Management (ALM)
Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA)
Oracle Financial Services Enterprise Performance Management (EPM)

Current OFSAA environment has ALM/LRM modules installed in same Information Domain (INFODOM).

For the purpose of installing the FTP 8.0.7 module that is part of PFT Pack, please answer below questions:

Question 1. Can Profitability Pack be installed on same INFODOM in which ALM/LRM applications are installed?

Below information was found in Profitability Management Application Pack v8. Installation Guide at , page 216:

"Can I install an Application Pack over another Application Pack (that is same infodom or different infodom)?

Yes, you can install an Application Pack over another Application Pack in the same information domain or different information domain. But Behavior Detection Application Pack and Compliance Regulatory Reporting Application Pack, Asset Liability Management Application Pack and Profitability Application Pack are the exceptions. They need to be installed in a different INFODOM."

Due to the above, there is understanding that ALM and Profitability Packs cannot be installed on same INFODOM. Please let us know.

Question 2. Is there any data that is required by FTP module and it is generated as an output by ALM module? For example, Cashflow generated by ALM module are then utilized by some other modules like LRM/LLFP.
If same is true for FTP then installing FTP on different information domain will require loading of data from ALM to FTP?

Question 3. Can multiple information domain be created in single atomic schema? As per our current understanding it's one-to-one mapping, i.e one information domain per atomic schema.
