Receiving 'Java.Lang.NullPointerException' Message When Adding New Chart Account (COA) (Doc ID 2633034.1)

On : 11.2.0.20 version, Administrations

When attempting to add a 'Chart Of Accounts' within OIRP, the following message is reported:

  at com.adminserver.asgraphicrulesidemodule.wizards.chartofaccounts.NewChartOfAccountsWizardPanel2.readSettings(NewChartOfAccountsWizardPanel2.java:119)
  at org.openide.WizardDescriptor.updateStateOpen(WizardDescriptor.java:867)
  at org.openide.WizardDescriptor.updateState(WizardDescriptor.java:822)
  at org.openide.WizardDescriptor._updateState(WizardDescriptor.java:800)
  at org.openide.WizardDescriptor.goToNextStep(WizardDescriptor.java:1072)
 

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Launch OIRP.
2. Under Admin Explorer tab >> Administration >> Chart Of Accounts.
3. Right-Click mouse on Chart Of Accounts and select “New Chart Of Accounts”.
4. Select Primary Company, enter an Account Number, Account Description then click Next
5. Chart Of Accounts Entity screen shows, an error “No Transactions exist for the selected Company” displays and a stack trace pop-up.
6. Select “Cancel” on stack trace. Notice the Transaction combo is disabled.
7. Check and then uncheck the Suspense check box.

**Notice that the Transaction combo becomes enabled. Look at the transactions listed in the combo. Only “Activate” transactions are listed.
