New Till Open Not Allowed After Clicking on F3 POS When Till Suspended in Offline Mode (Doc ID 2635681.1)

Symptoms

New till open does not allowed post clicking on POS button after suspending till in Offline mode.
When selecting option in Daily Operations and clicking on ‘Cancel’ on confirmation screen, system is jumping to Start of day followed by Register Open but does not allow to open the till.

Steps to reproduce:

Prerequisites: POS server is down

  1. Suspend the existing Till
  2. Select Till Options > Till Open > Displays confirmation screen on opening till in offline mode and click on 'Continue' button. POS displays “Another till open error”.
  3. When selecting CANCEL button on the confirmation screen, POS forces the user to open the store, register with a different business date other than the current store business date.
  4. POS displays an error and restricts the user from opening a new till by displaying an error like “Drawers not available”.
