CREWS Table BIRTH_TIME and DEATH_TIME Timestamps Should Not Overlap For Same Crew (Doc ID 2639169.1)

Last updated on JUNE 14, 2021

Applies to:

Oracle Network Management for Utilities - DMS - Version 2.3.0.2.0 to 2.4.0.1.0 [Release 2.3 to 2.4]
Oracle Utilities Network Management System - Version 2.3.0.2.0 to 2.4.0.1.0 [Release 2.3 to 2.4]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 2.3.0.2.0 version, SW- System Wide

If you sort the CREWS table by CREW_NAME and BIRTH_TIME, you will see rows where the DEATH_TIME for one row overlaps the BIRTH_TIME of the subsequent row.

This can cause "unable to get stable source records" merge errors when importing crew data into Oracle Utility Analytics (OUA).
In CD_CREW, we expect only one active record for a crew for any given time.
