Goal

Is there a way to know why Imapd fails to send a search to ISS?

The quest to know what should be looked for in the Imap log to notice ISS failures is fulfilled by the fix provided for Bug 30483513 as documented here.

As a result of the above mentioned bug fix, the following is logged in the imap log file:

However, this gives no additional information as to why Imap actually failed to send a search to ISS.
