UI - User Interface

Symptoms

During the upload process of Product dimension members and attributes using the standard OFSAA Dimension Loading procedure customer is unable to load the corresponding attribute values in STG_PRODUCTS_ATTR_INTF as the length of the attribute name (34 characters) exceeds the precision:

One of the predefined (seeded) Product attributes is “Interest Rate Sensitivity Category” (34 characters).

- In STG_PRODUCTS_ATTR_INTF the datatype of V_ATTRIBUTE_VARCHAR_LABEL is VARCHAR2(30)
- In REV_DIM_ATTRIBUTES_TL the datatype of ATTRIBUTE_NAME is VARCHAR2(80)

Steps to reproduce the issue:

 1. Prepare insert statements for the Product members
 2. Run insert statements
The data will not be inserted due to the fact that the “Interest Rate Sensitivity Category” value exceeds the precision of the corresponding attribute name from STG_PRODUCTS_ATTR_INTF
