Reclassification Affects Item Style But Not the Other Levels for DOMAIN_SUBCLASS Hierarchy
(Doc ID 2645840.1)
Last updated on DECEMBER 01, 2021
Applies to:
Oracle Retail Merchandising System - Version 16.0.2 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
When doing a reclassification of an item with 3 levels (TRAN_LEVEL=2) with FORECAST_IND=N, the reclassification process only changes the item style (ITEM_LEVEL=1). The other levels of the item do not change and the application does not generate an error.
This only happens when the reclassification is to a hierarchy that is inserted into the DOMAIN_SUBCLASS table, with DOMAIN_LEVEL=S and FORECAST_IND=Y.
Steps to Reproduce
-----------------------
1. Create a reclassification.
2. Choose the item with FORECAST_IND='N'.
3. Choose the hierarchy that exists in table DOMAIN_SUBCLASS.
4. Run the batch process.
5. Check that only the item style changed the hierarchy.
